This is a nice distinction I heard recently being a part of Steve Chandler’s Club Fearless. It is really about converting your dreams into REAL projects.
I mean, how many of us have those vague longings, some kind of wish list or bucket list of things we want. We want a new house, we want to stay at better hotels, we want dine in better restaurants, we want to have send out kids to better schools, we want to start a business and on and on and on.
So what to do? First thing, remove the word DREAMS from your vocabulary. Dreams are Goofy, Mickey, dreams are Disney – they live in fantasy land – let’s bring them into the land called PROJECTS.
We are now in the land or reality. We are going to convert our dream into a project. We are going to do this so we can engage it in it, so we can participate, so we can live in the land of action not some hazy dream-state.
So keep this in mind with an “dreams” you have. Make them into a project. Get some paper and start planning. Set dates and milestones. Get a coach to keep you on track. This will make it real. You will be actively engaged, excited and participating.
Don’t let another one of your dreams slip by. Start creating some projects and watch the real (not Disney) magic happen!
